A vessel can be perfectly engineered and still feel wrong. What an owner touches, sees, and reflects in is the surface — and the surface is the last five percent of the build that everything else is judged by.
Azzurro exists for that five percent. Italian sensibility, marine precision, and a crew that travels to the vessel rather than waiting for it.
On board. Substrate, humidity, movement, and existing systems assessed before anything is proposed.
A finish system written for this vessel — materials, build-up, curing, and the yard window available.
Controlled environment, contained work, daily reporting. The schedule is the promise.
Final cut and polish, inspection with the captain or representative, and care guidance for the crew.

Vito Novielli has spent more than twenty years with a respirator on and a hand on the surface. Hulls, superstructure, interiors, tenders and lifeboats — from bare substrate through primer, fairing and the final cut and polish.
That work has taken him across yards and climates — from the Mediterranean and Northern Europe to the shipbuilding yards of South Korea — and each one taught the same lesson differently: a finish is not a product you apply, it is a decision you make about a specific surface, in specific conditions, with a specific amount of time.
Azzurro exists so that judgment travels. He does not send a crew and review photographs. He is on board, in the tent, under the lights, until the surface returns your reflection.
